​About the Film

Retirement Plan is a 2024/2025 Oscar-nominated animated short directed by John Kelly and voiced by Domhnall Gleeson.

The film follows Ray, a man in his “overstimulated, energy-poor midlife,” as he imagines what life might look like if he finally stepped away from work. It was nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 98th Academy Awards.​
